polygamously I served on the board of directors of the Portland Earth & Spirit Council, was secretary for some time, and later also served as newsletter editor.

During this period, I also developed flyers and other materials for programs and wrote several articles that were printed in the newsletter. Among these is an article reflecting the theme of a conference we put together and held at Portland’s Waterfront Park. Planning these kinds of events as well as smaller ones that brought individual speakers to the area to inform, share relevant ideas, and present differing perspectives was part of what we wanted to offer.
