In Honey Bee: The Sun Being, a book for youngsters, I tell the story of a honey bee as she transitions from work as a house bee inside the beehive to work as a field bee. She now must fly far from home and return with the goods that are essential for the survival of her colony. As each phase of the story unfolds, I provide additional details in extended text and images. For this project, I did the research, writing, and editing. I then did the layout and designed the cover.
